Morgan appeared alongside other actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention and education. Proceeds from the video were given to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan spearheaded other fund raising projects, and she also testified to a special Congressional panel on AIDS awareness. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA, and of Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop's previous deputy surgeon general requested her from time to time to be his substitute during AIDS awareness events. Additionally, she was host of a AIDS Awareness Special with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to be on two occasions on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan was nominated for an Emmy for her performance in the Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. She co-starred in the ABC television series Your Money or Your Wife along with Joan Rivers. This summer's premiere was Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The movie was created Von Zerneck/Sertner, and also starred Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. Her next project brought Morgan to Luxembourg, where she starred in the role of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan also starred in the psychological thriller which was produced exclusively for the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the network's history.
